New service
GLS Hungary's newest service, GLS XXL, provides a solution for the delivery of 0-80 kg consignments that are not classified as postal parcels. Our employees deliver large items from the pick-up address to the destination specified by the addressee.
This service is currently only available within the territory of Hungary by our contracted partners.
GLS XXL Service
Fast and reliable transportation from the pick-up address to the destination
Delivery to all addresses within the territory of Hungary is made between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the working day following the pick-up
The second delivery attempt is also free of charge
The addressee is notified by phone on the day of delivery.
In case of unsuccessful delivery, the second delivery attempt will be free of charge.
Track & Trace® technology
The online Track & Trace function is available at any time of the day. The Pick-up Receipt can be downloaded online.
Customer software supporting administration
The MyGLS and MyGLS API software can be used free of charge.
Liability for damages
If the consignment or its content is damaged, the maximum amount of compensation is HUF 2,000,000.
Value-added services
CashService
At the time of delivery, the addressee pays the value of the goods in cash.
The maximum amount of cash on delivery is HUF 2,000,000 up to amounts of HUF 0 - 999,999, the addressee may choose to pay the amount of the COD in cash or by bank card.
Amounts above HUF 1,000,000 may only be paid by the addressee by bank card.
The sender does not need to separately request the payment of the COD by bank card; this is automatically assured the sender by GLS for each consignment when the CashService is requested.
GLS transfers the money to the sender's bank account on a daily basis, and, in Hungary, the sender receives the amount collected on the 2nd working day after collection.
Pick&ShipService
GLS will pick up the consignment at any specified address, and deliver it to a third address specified by the client.
Instructions received by 10 p.m. on working days will be fulfilled on the following working day.

Pick&ReturnService
GLS, on the instruction of the Sender, picks up the consignment on the specified working day and at the specified location and delivers it on the next working day.
In the case of failed pick-up, GLS will make a repeated attempt to pick up within 5 working days.
In the case of pick-up in Hungary, and instructions received by 10 p.m. on working days will be fulfilled on the following working day.
