We hereby inform you that on August 18, 2020 there was an incident subject to which was the email traffic of GLS Croatia d.o.o. (hereinafter: GLS). GLS has taken all measures prescribed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Regulation on data protection) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection (NN42 / 2018) to address risks and reduce possible harmful consequences of the incident.

GLS has taken all measures prescribed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Regulation on data protection) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection (NN42 / 2018) to address risks and reduce possible harmful consequences of the incident.
An assessment of the risk and impact of the incident on data protection was made and it was determined that the incident is unlikely to cause detrimental consequences for the rights and freedoms of data subjects.
GLS has taken the following measures to address the problem and reduce the possible detrimental consequences for the rights and freedoms of data subjects. All logs of the mail system and firewall were inspected and checked. Security software on all computers has been updated, all passwords for access to servers have been changed, as well as passwords for access to personal computers. A specialized firm was hired to investigate the incident in detail.

Tuberculosis Awareness Week
The provisions of Article 33 of the Croatian Red Cross Law, among other things states that the Croatian Red Cross organizes humanitarian weeks every calendar year in order to promote its activities: "Red Cross Week" in the period from May 8th to 15th, "Tuberculosis Awareness Week" in the period from September 14th to 21th and "Solidarity Week" in the period from December 8th to 15th. In these periods, in domestic postal traffic the amount of the additional stamp in favor of Croatian Red Cross will be applied on all postal items, except newspapers and magazines, in the amount of 50 percent of the nominal value of the first rate of letter weight according to the price list of public operator services.
The amount of the additional stamp in the "Tuberculosis Awareness Week" in the period from 14 to 21 September is 1.65 HRK.

Article 44 of the Croatian Red Cross Law also prescribes misdemeanor sanctions for non-application of the obligation in question by postal service providers. In addition, all postal service providers are obliged to timely inform all users of postal services that in the forementioned periods, in addition to the amount of the existing cost of postal services, it is mandatory to charge an additional fee for the postage stamp charged in favor of Croatian Red Cross.
Maximum amount of cash on delivery in international transport
The maximum cash on delivery amount for Slovakia is increased to EUR 2,655.51 per individual parcel.
