GLS Direct Delivery is the core delivery solution for companies, online stores and regular shippers who want to deliver parcels to the recipient’s selected address. This can be a home address, workplace, company address or another selected address in Slovenia or abroad.
With GLS Slovenia, you can send parcels across Slovenia, to EU countries and to selected global destinations. For the sender, the dispatch process is essentially the same: you prepare the parcel, create the shipping label, hand the parcel over to GLS and the shipment then enters the GLS delivery network.

What is GLS Direct Delivery?
GLS Direct Delivery means delivery of a parcel to the address stated on the shipment. This can be a home address, workplace, company address or another selected address in Slovenia, Europe or a selected global destination.
Is the dispatch process the same for Slovenia, Europe and world?
Yes. The basic process for the sender is the same: prepare the parcel, create the shipping label, hand the parcel over to GLS and track the shipment. Transit times, countries, zones, available additional services and possible customs procedures may differ.
When does GLS deliver parcels in Slovenia?
In Slovenia, GLS generally delivers parcels on the next business day after handover, between 08:00 and 17:00.
Does GLS offer shipping across Europe?
Yes. GLS offers parcel shipping to many European countries. Countries are divided into zones with indicative transit times.
Does GLS offer global shipping?
Yes. GLS offers shipping to selected global destinations. For shipments outside the EU, customs procedures, documentation and possible additional costs must be taken into account.
Can the recipient change the delivery?
Yes, when this option is available for the shipment. Depending on the available options, the recipient can choose another address, a GLS Parcel locker, a GLS Parcel shop or another delivery day.
Does GLS offer Cash on Delivery?
Yes. GLS offers Cash on Delivery in Slovenia and in selected European countries.
