Parcels shipped on the 30th of April (Friday) will be delivered on the 4th of May (Tuesday).

2nd April (Good Friday)

All depots and hotline operate as usual.

3rd April (Holy Saturday)

Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

5th April (Easter Monday)

Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

All parcels shipped on 2nd April (Friday) will be delivered on Tuesday, 6th April.

Please note that 5th April is also a bank holiday in most European countries.

Please note that from January all shipments to the UK will be subject to customs clearance. Packages to/from Ireland and Northern Ireland are not customs-cleared.The UK also left customs union when leaving the European Union.

Due to the lack of customs clearance for parcels sent through the Szybka Paczka / ParcelShop network, we would like to inform you that parcels sent to this direction will not be accepted for transport until further notice.

23rd December (Wednesday) All depots and hotline operate as usual. All parcels shipped on this day will be delivered on 24th December(Thursday) and 28th December (Monday).

24th December (Thursday) Depots and hotline operate until 2 p.m. There will be deliveries and collections to a limited extent. All parcels shipped on this day will be delivered on 29th December (Tuesday).

25th December (Friday) – 27th December (Sunday) Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

28th December (Monday) – 30th December (Wednesday) All depots and hotline operate as usual. All parcels shipped on 30th December (Wednesday) will be delivered on 31st December (Thursday).

31st December (Thursday) Depots and hotline operate until 6 p.m. There will be deliveries and collections. All parcels shipped on this day will be delivered on 5th January (Tuesday).

1st January (Friday) – 3rd January (Sunday) Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

4th January (Monday) – 5th January (Tueasday)

All depots and hotline operate as usual. There will be deliveries and collections.

6th January (Wednesday) Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

One of the principles that we follow every day is safety. That is why we react quickly to any information regarding fraud attempts targeting our customers and recipients.

We would like to warn you about thieves who pretend to be GLS delivery drivers and claim that they have a parcel to be paid on delivery, thus extorting money from recipients. We urge you to not accept suspicious parcels, especially when:

• you have doubts regarding the looks of the delivery van or the delivery driver’s outfit,
• you haven’t ordered a cash on delivery parcel for the cost mentioned by a delivery driver.

If in doubt, we suggest requesting a tracking number and verifying it on our website or by contacting our call centre.

GLS Poland’s work schedule for bank holidays in November provides you with information and helps you to plan your shipments:

31st October (Saturday)

On this day, only deliveries with SaturdayService are carried out.
No collections are made.
The hotline operate as usual.

2nd November (Monday)

All depots and the hotline operate as usual.
Parcels collected and delivered.

All parcels shipped on 30th October (Friday) will be delivered on Monday, 2nd November.

11th November (Wednesday)

Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

All parcels shipped on 10th November (Tuesday) will be delivered on Thursday, 12nd November.

We are very pleased to announce that in the upcoming weeks GLS Poland launches two new branches - north of Warsaw in Różan near Ostrołęka and in Wodzisław Śląski. Thanks to them our network will already consist of 41 depots. The opening of the new subsidiaries proves that GLS Poland systematically invests in its network and core infrastructure and continuously adapts it to the growing volume of shipments and e-commerce needs.

On October 26th, a subsidiary in Różan, about 100 km north of Warsaw, will start operating. The facility has an area of over 1,100 square metres, has been equipped with 31 courier gates and will initially handle a total of around 4,500 parcels daily. It is located in the central point between the GLS depots in Warsaw, Białystok, Olsztyn, Ełk, Brodnica and Płock.

On November 9th, a depot in Wodzisław Śląski, i.e. in the southern part of the Śląskie Voivodship, will begin operations. It will have 30 courier gates. The facility has an area of nearly 1,000 square metres, according to forecasts, in the first stage it will handle about 4,500 shipments per day. It will take over some of the routes of the branches in Czeladź, Bielsko-Biała, and later it will also relieve the workload of the depot in Opole.

Let us add that in September a new depot of GLS Poland was opened in Rywałd, right next to Starogard Gdański. The facility has 18 courier gates, and its capacity is currently about 3.5 thousand shipments per day. It is located near the junction of national road 22 with the A1 motorway. The subsidiary operates in the vicinity of Malbork, Tczew, Skwierzyna or Elbląg, relieving the workload of the branch in Straszyn near Gdańsk.

What's more, a few days ago our depot in Kielce has moved to another location. The first operational process in the new localization took place on October 19th. The facility has an area of over 1,900 square metres, has been equipped with 56 courier gates and will handle a total of around 11,000 parcels daily.

The investments made will significantly improve operational processes and facilitate the reception and delivery of parcels.

August 14 (Friday)
All depots operate as usual in respect of collection and delivery. The hotline is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

August 15 (Saturday)
Bank holiday for all GLS depots and the hotline.

August 16 (Sunday)
Day off for depots and hotline.

All parcels shipped on August 14 (Friday) will be delivered on August 16 (Monday).
We would like to inform that August 15 is a bank holiday in countries such as: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany (certain regions), Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.
